Over 250 delegates from Europe, Asia, North America, Africa and Australia attended and participated in a full programme of individual papers and symposia during 8 parallel sessions. Delegates felt the full benefit of being located in the heart of London and the Conference Dinner was on the boat ‘Hispaniola’ moored in the shadow of the London Eye.
At the SRA-E business meeting, the Executive Committee were pleased to make a presentation to the winners of the two SRA-E Student Scholarships. Both Karen Boll (IT University of Copenhagen) and Jörgen Sparf (Mid Sweden University) will receive a contribution worth 500 euro to their conference expenses.
All the delegates were very appreciative of the excellent efforts of the local organising committee led by Prof Ragnar Lofstedt and Dr Henry Rothstein and including Prof George Gaskell, Dr Renee Miller and Dr Anne Katrin Schlag.
